Check a certificate
Nothing you type or upload leaves your browser.
How we check
1. Genuine?
Official verification linkReal certificates can be checked on the issuer's own site (Credly, coursera.org/verify, nptel.ac.in, Microsoft Learn...). We check the link is on that site.
Look-alike sitesA link that copies the issuer's name (like "coursera-verify.com") is flagged as fake.
Certificate IDsWe check the ID format (e.g. Red Hat 123-456-789) and send you to the official page to confirm it.
Fake universitiesThe issuer is checked against UGC's list of 32 fake universities (February 2026).
QR code or link from a fileUpload a photo, screenshot or PDF (up to 5 MB) and the QR code or link is read right in your browser.
No record at allWorkshop and participation certificates have no official record - anyone can make one, so we say so.
2. Market value score
| Check | 2 points | 1 point | 0 points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Recognition (who gives it) | The company / body that owns the field, or an IIT | Known learning platform | Unknown training company |
| Proof of skill (how you earn it) | Supervised exam | Online tests or projects | Just attending |
| Job demand | In demand (verified sources or hiring reports) | Some demand / depends on the course | Not a credential employers ask for |
70% or more = High market value · 45-69% = Medium · below 45% = Low. We also show the price and the fresher salary of the jobs it leads to, each with its source.
No made-up facts: every price, salary and demand line links to its source. Prices and salaries are refreshed every month by our software, which keeps a fact only if its exact quote is on the source page.
